Are you a carer?

A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems.

We understand that as a carer you will face particular challenges and want to offer you support.

Some of the services that we currently offer are:

  • Annual health check
  • Flu vaccination each autumn
  • A dedicated carers noticeboard in the waiting room where you can find newletters and leaflets
  • A carer champion who is your practice contact and available if you need help or advice

The Carers Champion's is Eileen Singleton and she can be contacted in a number of ways:

By calling 01923 226 011.

By email  cassiodocs@nhs.net

Or you can come into the surgery

If you have any suggestions on further services that you would like us to offer please let us know.
