Chose Wisely. Is A&E the right service for your healthcare needs?

Each time a patient attends Accident and Emergency it costs at least £60

Please consider whether another service would be more appropriate.

Attending the Accident and Emergency Department is not always the most appropriate or quickest way of receiving medical attention when the surgery is closed. Below is a list of services available in this area, when to use them and how to access them. We would suggest that you read the leaflet now and keep it for when you next feel you may need to attend the Accident and Emergency Department.
