Named Accountable GP


All patients that register at Cassio Surgery will be given a Named Accountable GP who will take lead responsibility for their care. You will be informed when you register who that is.

Repeat Prescriptions

red_orange_pillsPatients on regular medication may require a repeat prescription. 

You can request your medication through this site by clicking on the link above and complete the simple registration form.

Alternatively, you will find attached to your previous prescription a tear-off slip with your medication listed.  Please tick the medication you require and cross off what you don't want and bring or send it to the surgery. If you wish your prescription to be posted to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

You should allow up to five full working days for your request be dealt with - requests vis a pharmacy may take longer.

We do not take telephone requests for repeat prescriptions.

OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATIONS

These are medicines that can be purchased at a pharmacy without the need for a prescription. They include medicines for many skin conditions, conjunctivitis, allergies, emergency contraception, constipation and diarrhoea, to name a few. Pharmacists are trained to deal with many ‘self-limiting’ conditions and an appointment is not needed. Some pharmacies are open late and at weekends.

Sometimes your doctor or nurse will suggest one of these medicines when they see you.
